A meeting of the secretaries also decided to form a taskforce to review public holidays. <\/p>\n<p>A meeting of the secretaries held under the leadership of Chief Secretary Govinda Bahadur Karki took the decision to this effect. The meeting concluded that it was necessary to review other public holidays after giving two public holidays on Saturday and Sunday in a week. <\/p>\n<p>The meeting also decided to form a Public Holiday Review Taskforce under the convenorship of Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs with representatives from the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Ministry of Land Management, Ministry of Cooperatives, Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Ministry, and Ministry of Finance. <\/p>\n<p>The taskforce has to submit its report to the Home Ministry within 15 days.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu.
