Kathmandu. IGI Prudential Insurance Limited has organized a one-day orientation on AML\/CFT on July 29. The company successfully conducted a one-day orientation training and seminar on compliance and prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing in the presence of directors, management and fundamental shareholders of the company at Hotel Radisson, Lazimpat, Kathmandu. <\/p>\n
On the occasion, Sambha Raj Lamichhane, an expert trainer of AML\/CFT, apprised the company about the current situation in this sector and the company’s compliance in the days ahead. <\/p>\n
The event featured detailed presentations and interactive discussions on current issues such as prevalent legal provisions related to AML\/CFT, regulatory requirements, customer identification and due diligence, risk-based approach, suspicious transaction detection and reporting, targeted financial sanctions, etc. <\/p>\n
Speaking on the occasion, Hemraj Dhakal, Chairman of the company, said that the company should follow the directives given by the regulatory bodies of the company while carrying out their daily work, as well as the Act, Rules, Laws and circulars and directives issued from time to time. He also directed everyone to identify the customers to be prepared while doing every work on a daily basis and to work by fully complying with the identification, act, rules, directives and circulars. <\/p>\n
On the occasion, Director of the company Umakanta Acharya thanked the presenters of the one-day orientation program, Chairman and Directors of the Board of Directors of the company, fundamental shareholders and heads of top management and departments. <\/p>\n
