Kathmandu. Nepal SBI Bank has celebrated its 33rd anniversary. On this occasion, the bank organized an oath taking ceremony where all the employees of the bank expressed their commitment towards the bank. Ram Kumar Tiwari, managing director and chief executive officer of the bank, administered the oath of office to all the employees of the bank amid a function held at the bank’s head office in Kathmandu. <\/p>\n
The event was attended by Deputy CEO & COO Bikash Anand, CFO Rajesh Kumar Panda, Chief Financial Officer Mr. Bishnu Dev Yadav and other senior officers of the bank. <\/p>\n
Likewise, employees working in the province offices and branch offices across the country also participated in the program virtually and took oath of office. Addressing the employees, the MD and CEO emphasized that each employee should shoulder his\/her responsibility to maintain the bank’s position as a leading bank in the financial sector in keeping with its legacy. He further added that the international best practices that the bank has been consistently following have been successful in strengthening good governance and maintaining operational excellence. <\/p>\n
He also emphasized the need to transform challenges into opportunities and aspirations into achievements through dedication, commitment and collective effort, encouraging all employees to strive for excellence through ethics, integrity, innovation, customer-centric service and collaboration. <\/p>\n
On the occasion, the bank organized blood donation programs in all provinces including its head office at Kamaladi, Kathmandu on the same day. In addition, the bank has provided financial support to Laxmi Narayan Ved Vidhyashram, Biratnagar, Smart Board for promoting technology-friendly education and Birateshwor Senior Citizen Friendly Clinic under its Corporate Social Responsibility program. <\/p>\n
Similarly, the bank has also provided smart boards to Shree Prabhat Secondary School and Shree Haridil Bhumi Secondary School, Birendranagar which has contributed to the quality of education by promoting technology-based teaching-learning technology. <\/p>\n
