Kathmandu. Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) Chairman Dr Gopal Prasad Bhatta has intensified the collection of suggestions from stakeholders for capital market reforms. <\/p>\n
The government had appointed Bhatta as the chairman of Sebon on June 5. He took charge of the post of chairman from June 29. <\/p>\n
After assuming the office, the Chairman has been meeting and consulting with the securities market, CDSC, Merchant Bankers\u00f7Securities Brokers, Associations of Securities Brokers, Credit Rating Agencies, General Investors and various bodies of the capital market under the regulatory jurisdiction of SEBON. <\/p>\n
During that time, the government’s fiscal year 2083. SEBON has been collecting suggestions on the policies and programs related to capital market development and reform mentioned in the annual policy and program and budget for 84 years, legal, structural, regulatory, technological and legal, structural, regulatory, technological and healthy, safe, effective and plans for immediate, mid-term and long-term reforms including the capital market development roadmap to be implemented by the Securities Board of Nepal in the coming fiscal year. g. <\/p>\n
During the meeting, Chairman Bhatta expressed his commitment to document the suggestions received regarding market development and protection of investors’ interests in the action plan of the coming fiscal year.
