KATHMANDU: MetLife Nepal has announced a special campaign for its customers to get up to 100% discount on late fees when they reactivate their existing insurance policies. Customers can avail this service either through the One Buy MetLife app or from the nearest branch office. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Campaign Highlights: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>100% waiver on late fee for reactivation of policies that have expired within 5 years<\/p>\n<p>75% discount on late fee for policies that have been old for more than five years<\/p>\n<p>The service is available through the One Buy MetLife app or MetLife&#8217;s branch office<\/p>\n<p>Campaign Period: June 18 to July 16, 2026 <\/p>\n<p>Through this campaign, customers can save on additional penalties and resume their insurance cover. Customers using the One Buy MetLife app will be able to complete the entire process without the need to visit the branch. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-305010 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/insurancekhabar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Reinstatement-Design.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"1400\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To reactivate the policy through the app, customers will have to login to the app and select the inactive policy under My Insurance. After this, you can go to the policy option and fill in the required details and submit the request. Customers will also be able to view the status of their request from the app, eliminating the need for frequent inquiries. <\/p>\n<p>Nirmal Kaji Shrestha, General Manager of MetLife Nepal said, &#8220;We are continuously working towards making insurance services simpler, more accessible and more accessible for our customers. The process of reactivating a policy through the OneBuy MetLife app is now faster, easier, and more convenient.
