Kathmandu. Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited in collaboration with Sarvodaya Project has distributed 25 units of white canes to the visually impaired, economically poor and socially backward communities as a part of its social responsibility. <\/p>\n
Sushil Poudel, Head of Branding and CSR of the Bank, distributed white canes to the visually impaired. Chief of the Bank’s Compliance Department, Khumnath Bhusal, was also present on the occasion. <\/p>\n
For blind people, the white cane is not only a means of mobility, but also an important foundation of self-reliance, security and self-confidence. Branding and CSR Head of the Bank, Mr. Poudel expressed his confidence that such support will make the support to ease the daily life and active participation in the society especially for the visually impaired people from economically weaker and underprivileged communities. Saugat Wagle of Sarvodaya Project said that the goal is to improve the living standard of the visually impaired, promote social inclusion and independent living. <\/p>\n
