Kathmandu. The government on Saturday launched an artificial intelligence-enabled chatbot for citizens to listen to online complaints against government departments. <\/p>\n
The government believes that the chatbot named ‘Samadhan Didi’ will help in the “democratization of the public grievance mechanism”. With the help of the chat bot, you will now be able to register a complaint by speaking in your own language, describing complaints and suggestions in simple words, without the need to know which ministry, department, class or sub-category you belong to. <\/p>\n
Welcoming the customer initially, the chatbot asks for information about the complaint, asks some relevant questions, automatically identifies the appropriate ministry, department, class and sub-category, and registers the complaint with the correct authority. <\/p>\n
Developed by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances in collaboration with Bhashini (an AI-powered tool), the chatbot is developed within secure government infrastructure, ensuring data privacy. At the launch event, the chatbot was demonstrated and tested live in various Indian languages. <\/p>\n
The Government of India has announced plans to include regional and tribal languages such as Bhojpuri, Garo, Khasi and regional and tribal languages such as Mizo and Bodhi in a phased manner, in addition to the 22 languages of the Eighth Schedule of the Indian Constitution.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
