Air France and Airbus have been blamed for the 2009 crash that killed 228 people. <\/p>\n<p>A Paris court has held the airline and aircraft manufacturer Airbus &#8220;wholly responsible&#8221; for the crash. An AF-447 flight from Rio de Janeiro to Paris crashed in the Atlantic Ocean. <\/p>\n<p>During the storm, the passenger plane lost control and plunged into the sea. All occupants died. <\/p>\n<p>There were 12 crew members and 216 passengers on board. It is considered the biggest accident in French aviation history. <\/p>\n<p>In April 2023, the court acquitted both companies of the charges.
