An outbreak of the Ebola virus has killed many people in the eastern Ituri province of the Democratic Republic of Congo. The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared it a public health emergency of international concern. <\/p>\n<p>The WHO said about 246 suspected cases and 80 deaths have been reported. However, the WHO has made it clear that this global epidemic does not qualify as an emergency. <\/p>\n<p>The WHO warned that there is substantial uncertainty about the exact number of infected people and the extent of the disease. The World Health Organization (WHO) attributes the Ebola outbreak to the Bundibugyo virus. There is no medicine or vaccine for this. <\/p>\n<p>The World Health Agency reports that the virus has also spread outside Congo. Two cases have been reported in neighbouring Uganda. <\/p>\n<p>According to Ugandan authorities, a 59-year-old man died and tested positive. <\/p>\n<p>Congo&#8217;s neighboring countries are considered more vulnerable to the virus due to their high levels of human traffic, trade and travel. \u2013Agency<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu.
