Long office hours, daily collaboration, and understanding of professional pressures motivate many to find a partner within their workplace. The Forbes survey has gone viral and people are sharing their experiences. <\/p>\n
According to the survey, 65 percent said that feeling comfortable is the biggest reason for office relationships. Meanwhile, 61 per cent said they lack time to meet new people outside of the office. Interestingly, only 38 percent believed that office romance makes work more enjoyable. Which means that emotional understanding is more important for most people. <\/p>\n
Biggest Fear of a Breakup{<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n }<\/p>\n However, the impact of these relationships is not limited to personal life. Many admitted that the fear of a breakup in office relationships is high. Because they may have to deal with the same person every day. About 54 percent said that dating in the office has affected their work-life balance. <\/p>\n The survey also revealed that office romance is hard to hide. More than half said that co-workers’ behavior changed after the relationship became public. About 60 percent admitted that office matters are often a topic of gossip. <\/p>\n 40% of people cheated on their partners in office <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n }<\/p>\n The most shocking finding of the report was that 40 per cent of colleagues admitted to cheating on their partners in office relationships. Another 43 percent eventually married their office partner. <\/p>\n According to the survey, many companies are now trying to manage office romance instead of treating it as completely wrong.
