The ‘Peace and Goodwill Yatra’ under ‘Karnali Connection’ organized by IME Life Insurance in this holy land was felt as a special opportunity to understand life and not just a visit. <\/p>\n
Rara is not only a lake, but its religious, cultural and geographical importance makes it even more special. Situated at an altitude of 2990 meters, this lake is the largest lake of Nepal, a symbol of peace. <\/p>\n
According to the legend, the belief associated with the fact that in the Satya Yuga, Mahadev traveled through this region while traveling the world with the dead body of Sati Devi and did not find a place to rest here, gives more mythological and spiritual significance to Rara. It is said that there is a popular belief that the present-day Rara Lake was formed by pouring water from his kamandalu when Mahadev took rest here. \u2019<\/p>\n
The Rara visit was organized with the objective of promoting Nepal’s domestic tourism and spreading the message of peace and goodwill in the world. The participation of about 300 life insurance agents and employees made the program even more meaningful. The hard-earned achievements of the company’s promising agents and employees, in particular, have illuminated the peaceful surroundings of Rara and lit the lamp of peace and hope. <\/p>\n
