Kathmandu. Today is the last day to file the initial public offering (IPO) of Yambling Hydropower Limited. The last date to apply for the IPO is May 22. <\/p>\n
In the first phase, the company has issued the IPO for the local residents of the project-affected areas and the Nepalis working abroad. <\/p>\n
The company was allowed to issue 40 percent of the issued capital i.e. 28 lakh units of shares worth Rs 28 crore. Out of the total offered shares, 7,00,000 units have been set aside for the locals of the project affected area and 2,10,000 units have been allotted to the Nepalese working abroad. <\/p>\n
Similarly, the company has issued 1,05,000 units of shares to mutual funds and 42,000 units to its employees. <\/p>\n
In the second phase, the company is issuing 17,43,000 units of ordinary shares worth Rs 17.43 crore to the general public. Applications can be place for minimum 10 units and maximum 21,000 units. <\/p>\n
Care Ratings Nepal has assigned CareNP Double B Minus Issue Rating to the company. This indicates that there is a moderate risk to the company’s ability to meet its obligations. <\/p>\n
Muktinath Capital Limited has been appointed as the issue manager for the IPO issuance. The interested investors can apply for the ASBA service from the banks and financial institutions participating in the ASBA service through the ASBA system.
