Now, non-life insurance companies will be able to provide third-party insurance for foreign-registered vehicles operating in Nepal. <\/p>\n<p>The Insurance Authority of Nepal (NIA) has extended this facility to the insurers through a policy decision. Now, all licensed non-life insurers and micro non-life insurers will be able to provide third party insurance for the period of operation of vehicles registered abroad as per the Motor Insurance Rates Directive, 2073. <\/p>\n<p>Prior to this, there was no provision of third-party insurance for vehicles registered abroad when they came to operate in Nepal.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu.
