Kathmandu. Sopan Pharmaceuticals Limited is going to open its initial public offering (IPO) from April 14. The company is going to issue the IPO to the general public after allocating the IPO for Nepalese who are employed abroad. <\/p>\n
The company was allowed to issue 42,90,000 units of shares worth Rs 42.90 crore i.e. 25% of its issued capital of Rs 1.71 billion. <\/p>\n
Out of this, 10% of the total 429,000 units of shares have already been issued to the Nepalese working abroad after obtaining labour permit from the concerned body of the government. Similarly, 1,71,600 units have been allotted for the employees of the company and 2,14,500 units have been allotted for the mutual funds. <\/p>\n
In the second phase, the company will issue 34,74,900 units of shares at a face value of Rs 100 per share to the general public. <\/p>\n
Applications can be place for minimum 10 units and maximum 11,000 units. The general public can apply for the IPO till April 22. If the application is not submitted within this period, the applicants can apply till May 17. <\/p>\n
NMB Capital Limited has been appointed as the issue manager for the IPO issuance. The interested bidders can apply for the shares online from all ASBA member banks and financial institutions and their designated branches and CDS & Clearing Limited. <\/p>\n
Care Ratings Nepal has assigned CareNP Single B Issuer Rating to the company. This indicates that there is a high risk to the company’s ability to meet its obligations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
