Kathmandu. The Carlsberg Golf Classic 2026 organized by Gorkha Brewery Pvt. Ltd. has concluded. The tournament was successfully held on April 10 and 11 at the Royal Nepal Golf Course. A total of 130 golfers took part in the two-day tournament. <\/p>\n
The tournament was played on a three-part handicap basis in the popular Stableford format. In men’s section, Karbir Tamang won the match with 48 countback scores. Ashmank Karki was the runner-up with 48 countback scores. Hari Bahadur Thapa bagged the Best Gross Grace Winner with 35 points. <\/p>\n
In the women’s category, Sushma Singh was the runner-up with 36 points while Tara Karki Chitrakar was runner-up with 34 countback scores. In the above 65 age category of men’s category, Major General Bijay Moktan and Captain Mohan Gurung became the runner-up. In the Super Senior (above 75 years) category, Captain Manilal Thapa became the winner. <\/p>\n
Devi Pulami and Sandhya Rai won the women’s senior (above 60 years category) and Sandhya Rai in the super senior (above 70 years) category. In the special category, Hari Bahadur became the special attraction of the tournament by making a hole-in-one on hole number 12. Several birdies have been won by the award with four birdies. <\/p>\n
