Kathmandu.\u00a0The Department of Immigration has clarified regarding the departure permit process for Nepali workers going for foreign employment and said that there is no mandatory provision for submitting any additional bill or receipt. <\/p>\n
Issuing a public notice on Friday, the Department issued a public notice after the news and information that the workers should show additional documents such as bill receipts at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) has created confusion among the general public. <\/p>\n
According to the Department of Immigration, workers going out of the country in course of foreign employment will have to submit minimum basic documents such as labour permit and passport issued by the Department of Foreign Employment. Apart from this, no other documents or bill-receipts need to be submitted to the immigration office. <\/p>\n
New rules for visit visa<\/p>\n
The Department has also systematized and simplified the process for Nepali citizens going abroad on visit visa. <\/p>\n
According to the notice, those going on the visit visa will have to submit a passport with a validity period of at least 6 months, air ticket to the destination country, visa of the concerned country and self-declaration form. <\/p>\n
