The Ministry of Health and Population has directed the hospitals to keep their services open even on Sundays. <\/p>\n<p>The ministry issued a notice in this regard today. The government has announced a public holiday on Saturdays and Sundays for two days a week. However, the Ministry has instructed the hospitals to continue their services on Sunday as well so that the health service is continuous and effective. <\/p>\n<p>The Ministry has directed the hospitals to provide OPD services on Sundays depending on their workload and human resources. The ministry has suggested that while implementing this provision, arrangements should be made to give employees one day off in a week other than Saturday and provide leave in place of those who cannot give leave. <\/p>\n<p>Similarly, the notice has urged the Ministry of Health Affairs of all seven provinces to make this arrangement in provincial hospitals as well.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu.
