Kathmandu. Life insurance companies will be able to get insurance offer only till April 27. <\/p>\n
As per the directive issued by the Nepal Insurance Authority, the life insurance companies can accept the insurance proposal till the 27th of tomorrow. NEA has issued a directive on August 14, 2081 stating that it will not be allowed to accept any insurance proposal on the last day of every quarterly period. <\/p>\n
The third quarter ends after the end of March. With this provision, life insurers will be able to accept insurance proposals only till the 27th of this month. Because it’s Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th. The government has decided to give public holiday on Saturday and Sunday. <\/p>\n
Insurance companies will not be able to accept any insurance proposal on Monday, April 30. However, companies will be able to issue policies for approved proposals till the previous day, i.e. 27th of the business day. <\/p>\n
In the same directive, the authority had made a provision that the insurance targets for life insurance agents should be completed within the 28th of every month while providing incentives and issuance of the scheme, and the insurance after the 28th should be included in the next month’s target, incentive or scheme without including it in the target, incentive or scheme of the same month.
