Prime Minister Balendra Shah has decided to sack Minister Sah from his post. Earlier, party President Rabi Lamichhane had recommended the removal of Prime Minister Shah from his post by recalling him from the minister’s post using the Right to Recall system. <\/p>\n
After being appointed as the minister, Shah’s wife Junu Shrestha was again active as a member of the Health Insurance Board. The Central Discipline Commission of the Rastriya Samajwadi Party (RSP) on Wednesday had recommended the party president Rabi Lamichhane to take necessary action against Sah for violating the dignity of the office. <\/p>\n
The then government had nominated Shrestha as a member of the Insurance Board. However, Shrestha had been inactive for a long time. The NHRC has recommended disciplinary action against Sah after Shrestha resumed his role as a member of the Insurance Board after he was elected as a member of the Insurance Board. <\/p>\n
Acting Chief of the Commission, Ramakanta Rimal, said that the evidence and details obtained by the Commission showed that Mrs. Shrestha had reactivated the Insurance Board under the influence of his position after his appointment to the post of minister. “There is a provision that no member of the party’s central or state bodies shall be recommended or nominated for appointment to any state body from the family of the party’s central and state bodies,” he said. At the same time, Minister Sah has also been reluctant to give clear information on this issue, giving incomplete and false information. Shah’s behaviour has caused a serious dent to the prestige and image of the party, which has almost two-thirds of the votes from the people. \u2019<\/p>\n
