Kathmandu. The Ministry of Information and Communications Technology (MoIT) is to improve the system of automatically deducting money from the main balance after the data package purchased by the customer on mobile. <\/p>\n
Issuing a press release on Monday, the ministry said that mobile data services will be improved in coordination with the Nepal Telecommunication Authority. Consumers can choose to deactivate the PAYG-as-you-go system once the data runs out. Apart from this, the telecom company is going to make it mandatory for the consumers to get information after 90 percent of the data of the purchased package is consumed. <\/p>\n
The ministry has also pledged to make efforts to improve the quality of mobile service and service of Nepal Telecom. According to the ministry, additional frequencies will be made available within 30 days to improve the quality of 4G services through policy reforms. <\/p>\n
Similarly, the one-time KYC system would be implemented within 30 days and the services like SIM distribution, ownership transfer and retrieval of lost SIM cards would be completed within 30 days. <\/p>\n
The ministry is preparing to set up one-stop service desks in all the offices of Nepal Telecom within 30 days. From where services like SIM, internet, telephone connection, lease line and tariff payment will be available from one place.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
