Kathmandu. On the occasion of Global Money Week, Nerude Mirmire Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited has successfully organized a financial literacy program on Saturday, March 7 through Bardibas branch office. The program was attended by members of the branch office, local youths, and other stakeholders. <\/p>\n
The program was presided over by Rama Kumari Bista, a member of Sagarmatha Nerude Mirmire Women’s Group Center-No. 164. The program was attended by Madhesh Province Chief, Dhalkebar Cluster Chief, Hariban Cluster Chief, Bardibas, Imlichowk, Dhalkebar, Bhangaha, Hariwan, School Chowk and Khayarmara branch offices. <\/p>\n
As part of the program, the participants organized a morning rally at Bardibas bazaar area carrying placards with messages related to financial awareness and spread the message to the general public about financial discipline, importance of savings, responsible loan use and caution against fraud. <\/p>\n
Similarly, a formal program was organized at the meeting hall of Rara Technical School at Bardibas Municipality-3. The program included interactions, discussions and experience sharing on various topics related to financial literacy. To encourage active participation of the participants, a quiz competition was also organized wherein the participants who answered correctly were given attractive gifts from the organization. <\/p>\n
Representatives of the organization said that financial literacy plays an important role in economic strengthening of individuals, developing a culture of savings and sustainable economic development. Also, such programs will be continued in the coming days as well. <\/p>\n
