Employees of the National Life Insurance Company (RLIC) are upset with the working style of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Sundar Panthi. They have accused CEO Panthi of tarnishing the image of the general public and the stakeholders.

The employees made this statement public in a statement today. They have drawn attention to the news that was recently aired in some media on the basis of video footage related to the company.

The statement said that only a partial part of the incident was made public in the internal room of the office. “It does not fully reflect the true background of the incident or the circumstances within the institution,” the statement said. ’

Here are the explanations of the employee{

The CEO was appointed by the government before the then Genji Movement.

{{TAG_OPEN_li_32} When the management and all the employees demanded information from the CEO regarding the memorandum submitted to the Board of Directors of National Life Insurance Company on December 27, the Chief Executive had been expressing irresponsible statements that would bring down the company’s reputation. It is clear that CEO Panthi has been working unilaterally on March 27, tarnishing the image of the general employees and stakeholders of the company in the media, tarnishing the commercial image and reputation of the company.

{{TAG_OPEN_li_31} Due to the Employees Bylaw brought by the CEO on July 7 with the approval of the Ministry of Finance, the employees have reduced the perks and facilities of about Rs 250,000 annually and the employees have been raising this issue repeatedly. At the same time, there was a natural concern and dissatisfaction among the employees due to the change in some of the facilities available at the time of retirement. Following the objections of the employees, the Board of Directors had sent the provision to the Ministry of Finance for amendment stating that it was necessary to review the provision, but the CEO did not take any positive initiative in this regard.

When the employees’ perks were reduced, the CEO instigated the employee to go to court, tried to suppress his friend by appointing him as a legal advisor, misused the property and resources of the office by calling the legal advisor to the office to pay unnecessary wages.

The CEO has repeatedly threatened the management and the general staff that I have come from time to time for the purpose of selling the company, that I have come to cut off your services.

The CEO has been coming in the morning from time to time since last month, going on leave without informing the office and without approval from the board of directors, not giving the acting chief executive even if he is on leave, and obstructing the work of the office.

An expert was appointed at the initiative of the CEO after pointing out the need for an organization and management survey (O&M) of the company due to the lack of fulfillment in the company for a long time. The survey report was brought to the detriment of the office itself and the board of directors was also tried to pass it by deceiving it on various issues. Later, after submitting the matter to the Board of Directors on behalf of the staff administration, the Board of Directors itself got involved in the matter and prepared a brief O&M and sent it to the Ministry for approval on the basis of that. It is also clear what the CEO’s opinion of the employee is.

The CEO did not attend the anniversary of the company on February 11 and obstructed the anniversary celebration of the company as he was trying to spoil the program and spoil the company’s reputation.

} It is a fact that the general public has been irresponsibly responding and avoiding the demand for clarity on the filling of posts, audit, annual general meeting and actuarial valuation which should be the subject of concern of the general employees on a regular basis and the external audit has not been appointed for any financial year after his appointment. In the statement of the CEO, after I came to power, I have said that the annual general meeting has been done for 6-7 years, the annual general meeting of 2 years has not been announced and the 3-year AGM has already been submitted to the Insurance Authority for approval and now the AGM has been approved for 5 years.

CEO has participated in foreign training without the approval of the Ministry of Finance, Government of Nepal.

There is no obstruction in all the services and activities provided by the company and there is no activity that will tarnish the image of professional competition by responsible employees. We are aware that the company should not be victimized due to the personal behavior of the company’s CEO Sundar Panthi.

Finally, it is necessary to create a comfortable environment by coordinating and discussing with all the stakeholders involved in this company family.

Kathmandu.
