Kathmandu. Renu Dahal, who is contesting from Chitwan constituency-3 in the House of Representatives election, has conceded defeat and congratulated her contender Sovita Gautam. She said, “I won your hearts through my work but I could not win your votes. “<\/p>\n
“In my political career of nearly 30 years, I have dedicated 9 years of my life for the development, prosperity and good governance of this place,” she said in a post on social media. <\/p>\n
I felt that the lack of good policies and regulations in favour of the people for development was making things difficult. For this, I left the post of mayor for 15 months and contested the House of Representatives election from Chitwan-3. However, the results have already been announced. I respect the valuable votes of the people. <\/p>\n
Dear Chitwan, the vote will definitely not be wasted. I would like to express my best wishes for the happiness of the people and for the further development and prosperity of Chitwan by working in the coming days. I am indebted to all the voters who believed in me and voted for me even in the face of this tsunami. I will never forget this virtue of yours. “<\/p>\n
