Let&#8217;s find out what the U.S. really wants. <\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>Removing the dictator is not the purpose, it&#8217;s the real reason <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>}<\/p>\n<p>According to an article published in the Wilfried Mertens Center for European Studies, the removal of a dictator is not meant to restore democracy. US President Donald Trump&#8217;s statements show that the form of government is not as important as standing up to the Trump administration with folded hands. <\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>Is Trump pushing the Monroe Doctrine? <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> The article states that the removal of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro was not just about fighting drugs or seizing Venezuelan oil. It was a policy of establishing American dominance in the entire region. <\/li>\n<p>Trump himself has called this policy of hegemony in the Western Hemisphere the Donro Doctrine.TAG_OPEN_li_85 This Donroe Doctrine is a very Trumpian version of the Monroe Doctrine with the addition of the Roosevelt Effect. <\/li>\n<\/p>\n<li>The Roosevelt Result is a 1904 declaration of American foreign policy. It was included in the Monroe Doctrine by the then US President Theodore Roosevelt. It said the US had the right to intervene to protect any Latin American country from European interference. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>Who Formulated the Monroe Theory? <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> According to the DW report, the US has often cited the Monroe Doctrine to justify its authoritarian policies. Today&#8217;s foreign policy is inspired by former US President James Monroe&#8217;s speech more than 200 years ago. <\/li>\n<p>Monroe was the fifth president of the United States and the last of the Founding Fathers.TAG_OPEN_li_82 He fought against British colonial forces in the American War of Independence (1775\u20131783). <\/li>\n<\/p>\n<p>TAG_OPEN_li_81 In fact, Monroe delivered his State of the Union address to the U.S. Congress on December 2, 1823. This is known in history as the Monroe Doctrine. At the time, the U.S. was a relatively young nation. That was not militarily sustainable in 1823.
