According to the Insurance Reflection published by the Nepal Insurance Authority (NEA), the number of life insurance policies submitted till mid-January of the current fiscal year has declined by 4.56 percent. During this period, 59,672 insurance policies have been submitted. Last fiscal year 2081. A total of 62,523 policies were surrendered by the insured during the same period of 2018. <\/p>\n
As the number of surrenders decreases, the amount paid for surrenders has also decreased. In the last fiscal year, the life insurance company had paid a total of Rs 8.59 billion as dedication. According to NEA, there has been a slight decrease in the number of life insurance policies that have exceeded 6 months from the date of payment of renewal premium. The number of insurance policies in the review period decreased by 0.71 percent compared to the previous year. <\/p>\n
In the first seven months of the current fiscal year, 12,26,275 insurance policies have been issued. The amount of the policy is Rs 37.70 billion. In the last fiscal year, the amount of insurance policy was Rs 36.62 billion. In the same period last year, 12,34,983 insurance policies were issued.
