According to the commission, the restaurant business should include fire insurance to protect the building and property, third-party liability insurance to protect consumers from injury or death, business interruption insurance to reduce the impact of lost revenue during an operational disruption, and theft insurance to protect against damage or damage to property. <\/p>\n
“Many restaurateurs still lack the understanding or access to appropriate coverage that prioritizes customer safety,” the commission said. “Some perceive insurance as an expensive product with complex terms and conditions,” the commission said, adding that others are unsure whether coverage is appropriate for commercial risk. \u2019<\/p>\n
For this reason, the regulator has concluded that many businesses are still sufficiently safe. To help businesses choose accurate and cost-effective coverage, the Commission has partnered with the insurance industry and related agencies to highlight the importance of risk management, insurance, and customer protection.
