Kathmandu. Himalayan Life Insurance Limited has distributed educational bags to the students of Shree Siddha Secondary School located in Byas Rural Municipality-3, Sina, Darchula district. As a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, the company distributed educational bags to around 310 students of the school. <\/p>\n
Children in this geographically remote and remote part of the state were forced to go to school either in hand or in tattered bags. Keeping in mind their compulsion and attachment to education, the company has extended a helping hand. <\/p>\n
Speaking at the program, Tek Raj Acharya, Deputy Head of Himalayan Life, said that the main objective of the company is to provide support to the students of remote areas even if they are small. “We are not only doing business, we are also responsible towards the society,” he said. We are proud to see the bags in the hands of students in such a remote place as Sinai. Education is the foundation of the future and insurance provides financial security in it. <\/p>\n
He also talked about the importance of insurance and its role in future risk management. <\/p>\n
