KATHMANDU: The Election Commission (EC) has urged the government to produce a TikTok video related to the election publicity and voter education for the upcoming House of Representatives election. The best video will be awarded up to Rs 50,000. <\/p>\n<p>The election to the House of Representatives is taking place on March 4. Likewise, the Election Commission has urged the citizens to prepare and upload their TikTok videos of up to 1 minute duration in their respective accounts including election publicity, election code of conduct and voter education. The video can be sent to the EC&#8217;s e-mail address tiktok@ecn.gov.np by March 31. <\/p>\n<p>Out of the videos received by the Commission, the top three videos with the highest number of views will be awarded cash prize each. The award carries cash prizes of Rs 50,000, Rs 30,000 and Rs 20,000 each. <\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>Here are the conditions<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<p>TAG_OPEN_li_23 The TikTok video should be prepared in the context of the election to the House of Representatives, 2082. <\/li>\n<\/p>\n<li> Video should be interactive and message-oriented. Preference will be given to original audio and acting videos. <\/li>\n<li> General information about the election, need and importance of the election, the right way to stamp the ballot paper, adherence to the election code of conduct, rights and duties of the voter, information about which candidate the voters should choose, etc. <\/li>\n<li> One person can send a video on a topic. Also, videos can be produced with two or more people. <\/li>\n<li> The Commission shall have the right to the videos so obtained. The Commission may disseminate the video message through its social networking sites. <\/li>\n<li> Videos that do not comply with the specified conditions and have expired will not be accepted. <\/li>\n<li> The best video will be selected by independent experts and commissions. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu.
