Kathmandu. With an aim to promote AI, robotics, and coding skills among students, Skillsup in partnership with Steampedia is organizing a national competition called ‘Codever 7.0’ on February 10. <\/p>\n
Around 500 students from more than 50 schools and colleges across the country are taking part in the competition to be held at Anpum Foodland at Battisputali, Kathmandu. <\/p>\n
The competition will be divided into three categories: Elementary, Junior and Senior. <\/p>\n
The competition’s tracks include Innovation and Entrepreneurship, AI Robo Challenge, Robo Soccer, and Wellness Wave. Students will present projects related to social innovation, health technology, robotic challenges, and robofootball, which are aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals. <\/p>\n
The competition will showcase more than 100 projects related to health, energy, AI, automation, climate and eco-innovation, including fire detection system, solar tracking system, automatic pet feeder, medicine reminder, water quality monitoring, smart street light, bluetooth controlled doctor robot, queue management system, weather monitoring system, etc. <\/p>\n
According to the organizers, more than 2,500 visitors are expected to visit the exhibition. The Skillsup competition aims to promote technological excellence, reduce the gap between theory and practice, identify local talent and foster entrepreneurial thinking among students. <\/p>\n
A total of Rs 10 lakh has been arranged for the winners. The top 20-25 teams selected from the tournament will get an opportunity to represent Nepal at the international championship to be held in Indonesia in coming May. <\/p>\n
Prior to the national championship, Skillsup also conducted special bootcamp training in partnership with various schools for the participating students.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
