Kathmandu. The 24th Annual General Meeting of LIC Nepal has been concluded. The assembly was held at Nepal Administrative Training Academy, Jawalakhel, Lalitpur. <\/p>\n
The company has decided to distribute 21.05 percent cash dividend on its current paid-up capital. The meeting of the company has endorsed the proposal. <\/p>\n
The AGM presented the annual report of the Board of Directors by the Chairman and endorsed it. The meeting has approved the statement of the auditor along with the balance sheet up to mid-July 2082 and the profit or loss account and cash flow statement of the fiscal year 2081\/82. <\/p>\n
The meeting passed a proposal to appoint an auditor for the fiscal year 2082\/83 as per the recommendation of the audit committee and fix his remuneration and make the incumbent auditor KJ Associates eligible to be re-appointed. <\/p>\n
The AGM approved the appointment of directors and independent directors appointed on behalf of promoter shareholders. The meeting also endorsed a proposal to increase the allowances of the chairperson and members of the Board of Directors. <\/p>\n
The meeting has approved the expenditure incurred by the company under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the fiscal year 2081\/82 as per Section 105 (1) (c) of the Company Act, 2063.
