The Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has held a discussion on reducing systemic risk in Nepal&#8217;s securities market. <\/p>\n<p>The meeting was attended by representatives of Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), CDSC and Stock Brokers Association of Nepal. During the meeting, discussions were held on the operational structure of the Settlement Guarantee Fund, fund management process and the action plan along with the timelines to be adopted for its implementation. <\/p>\n<p>The stakeholders expressed their views on risk management, default management and the role of the concerned bodies and securities entrepreneurs with the objective of strengthening settlement guarantee and enhancing investors&#8217; confidence. <\/p>\n<p>In the meeting organized by SEBON for effective implementation of the Settlement Guarantee Fund to ensure market stability and protect investors&#8217; interests, NEPSE and CDSC presented the preparation related to the system and clearing. <\/p>\n<p>Similarly, the association provided suggestions based on its practical experience in market operations.
