The Insurance Association of Sri Lanka has launched the e-Motor Insurance Digital Card and distributed 500 tablets to the traffic police. <\/p>\n<p>According to the association, the equipment provided to the police in collaboration with its 13 non-life insurance members will help the police in implementing the new accident management system. <\/p>\n<p>The association says that the e-motor card seeks to strengthen the relationship between insurers, regulators and law enforcement by equipping the police with the necessary technology. <\/p>\n<p>The association expects these tablets to enable police officers to record accident data digitally and in real-time, reducing paperwork and improving both the accuracy and efficiency of accident reporting.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu.
