Kathmandu. Today is the last day to apply for the IPO of Ridge Line Energy Limited. The company had issued the initial public offering (IPO) to the locals of the project-affected areas from December 27. <\/p>\n
The company was allowed to issue 26,07,000 units of shares worth Rs 260.7 million i.e. 22 percent of the issued capital of Rs 1.18 billion. Out of the total offered shares, 11,85,000 units of ordinary shares worth Rs 11.85 crore will be issued to the locals of the project-affected areas. <\/p>\n
The interested bidders can apply for the IPO from all wards of Ajirkot Rural Municipality of Gorkha and Ward No. 1, 2, 3 of Dudhpokhari Rural Municipality and Ward No. 4, 5 and 6 of Dordi Rural Municipality. <\/p>\n
Applications can be place for minimum 10 units and maximum 50,000 units. <\/p>\n
Care Ratings Nepal has assigned CareNP Double B Issuer rating to the company. This indicates that there is a moderate risk to the company’s ability to meet its obligations. <\/p>\n
Prabhu Capital Limited has been appointed as the issue manager for the IPO issuance. The interested bidders can bid for the shares from Ridge Line Energy, Gorkha branch office, Prabhu Capital, Kamaladi, Prabhu Bank’s branch office in Palungtar and Prabhu Bank. Similarly, the bidders can apply from the website created by Prabhu Capital Limited. Locals of the project-affected areas have to pay Rs 2 as application fee for the share purchase application. <\/p>\n
