A person who dreams of success should face every situation in life without giving up. Yes, Hari Bahadur Thapa is a person with such positive emotions and energy. <\/p>\n

Born in 1990 in Mandandeupur Municipality-1 of Kavre, Hari has completed his studies up to Plus Two. “I spent my childhood in a very poor family. The only child in the house and the eldest child on top of that. My father was the only mother in the house during the Maoist insurgency. On top of that, a lower-class family. There was a lot of food and clothing. My mother didn’t go to the fair in the morning and evening. And I get whatever work I get in the village. We used to do the same thing (like the plow) and fulfill the needs of the family. He used to go to work and help his mother at home. The sisters were young. All the responsibility was on my mother and me. Janet completed his studies up to SSL. \u2019<\/p>\n

Currently, Hari is working as an agency manager at Koteshwor branch office of Citizen Life. Hari is not only an insurance agent by profession, he is also involved in the hotel sector. He has earned name, money and respect in the insurance market today by embracing the agent profession as a part-time person. Hari says that he feels very proud to work as an agent. <\/p>\n

Hari is also active in the insurance market by fulfilling his responsibility in the hotel. Hari has played an important role in expanding access to insurance. He has been spreading awareness about insurance to his village, neighbors, friends and close relatives and strangers. He believes that it is better to sell the policy by spreading insurance knowledge by paying the insurance than by forcibly getting insurance. <\/p>\n

In 2070 B.S., Hari took agricultural training and started an agricultural farm with the intention of doing something by working hard in his village. Ironically, transportation for the sale of agricultural products, roads, markets for sale, and many other things were inconvenient. After that, Hari could not take the firm forward in the long run. In the end, when there was no solution, there was no option but to leave all the businesses run by Hari and go abroad. He then went to Saudi Arabia in 2072 BS. <\/p>\n

Hari again went to Malaysia after 3 years, thinking that it would be better than Saudi. Even there, they could not earn as much as they wanted. He also stayed in Malaysia for 2 years and returned to Nepal. <\/p>\n

Hari is added to the insurance profession<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hari, who returned to Nepal after a five-year long stay abroad, was invited by his friend Tika Bahadur Dhakal aka Sanjay Thakal, senior agency manager of Citizen Life, to ‘Let’s meet and have tea’. When a friend who had not met him for many years invited him to visit, Hari went to meet his friend. At the same time, Hari was offered insurance by a friend. However, Hari refused, saying he couldn’t afford insurance, he didn’t have the money. <\/p>\n

Again, Hari’s friend Tika said, “If you can’t insure, become an agent and insure yourself.” Working as an agent is also good in terms of income. The lives of others can also be protected. In a way, it’s a social profession.” After that, Hari asked what it would be like. <\/p>\n

In another meeting, his friend Tika also got an opportunity to meet Bheshraj Bhattarai, senior agency manager of Citizen Life. Then Bheshraj asked, “What is insurance? The importance of insurance? He talked about the benefits of working as an agent, the benefits of insurance, insurance policies, companies and many other insurance-related topics. <\/p>\n

“When Bheshraj kept explaining about insurance, I had to go for insurance right now,” Hari remembers, “When my friend Tika got away with his friend Bheshraj, my life took a different turn.” When he told me about insurance, the benefits of working as an agent, I thought I should go look for insurance right now. At that meeting, I became very curious and in 2089 B.S., I got a license and started working from Citizen Life. \u2019<\/p>\n

While getting a license from Citizen Life, Hari got his initial insurance. Then he went on to insure his loved ones. Now, Hari has been insured in the entire Mandandeupur Municipality. He has educated everyone in his community about insurance. He said that people who do not have insurance are also educated about insurance. <\/p>\n

“I have tried to do a good job in the insurance market. I have sold more than 200 insurance policies till date. Everyone in the village knows it. I’ve made a good impression. I did a good job from the very beginning when I joined the insurance company. I am not afraid to hurt a person who has suffered and struggled again, I have also suffered a lot in the insurance sector. That’s why I have achieved success in this field today. I am very happy and satisfied with this profession. \u2019<\/p>\n

Hari says that his life has changed a lot after joining this profession. “My speaking skills have evolved. I got a chance to connect directly with strangers as well as people in big positions,” he said. Everyone in the community has got a chance to know me very well. This profession also made me financially strong. I have been able to work for social welfare. I have earned a name. In fact, the insurance profession gave me everything. \u2019<\/p>\n

Hari believes that there are still many people who do not believe in insurance. “Some people still link insurance with cooperatives and distrust it,” he says. They say I’m doing it for you. What is the company, what are the features and benefits? I don’t know it, and I say I’m doing it for you. \u2019<\/p>\n

Hari added, “Not only insurance, but also the agent profession is still considered bad by many. Some people take the profession of an agent negatively, while some take it positively. Becoming an agent is like chewing iron flakes. After joining this profession, you have to face many accusations, counter-accusations, sorrows, struggles, bitter words. However, if you take positive steps to mix all these things and say that nothing is wrong, then one day it will also be positive. For this, the agent should spread a positive message and not mislead anyone. \u2019<\/p>\n

To be successful in the profession of an agent, one needs hard work, struggle, perseverance, positive thinking, the ability to explain insurance and self-confidence. “To be successful in this profession, you don’t just have to dream. We need to stop the cultivation of illusion by finding potential customers and trading trust, and we will succeed,” he said. <\/p>\n

Explaining the importance of insurance in a single sentence, Hari said, “Insurance is a mother. Just as a mother fights for the safety of her child, insurance also strives for the safety of its customers. \u2019<\/p>\n

Hari has met the goal of MDRT. Not only this, he has received awards under Bronze Club, Silver Club and Diamond Club. <\/p>\n

Taking pride in the success of Citizen Life through his immense efforts in the mixture of sorrow and struggle, Hari said, “Today, Citizen Life is the one that shows the way and always encourages me in the success I have achieved. I am where I am today because of the support that the team of this company has given me. With the trust that my clients have placed in me, I have been able to successfully heal the pain of the sorrows at the steps of my life. I express my commitment to work with the company in the coming days as well, without losing the support and trust of the customers. \u2019<\/p>\n
