Kathmandu: The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has decided to shut down unregistered social networks in Nepal from today. <\/p>\n<p>A meeting held at the Ministry today decided to shut down unregistered social networks. A meeting of the Council of Ministers held on September 27, 2018 had given a deadline of one week for the listing of social networks that are yet to be registered in Nepal. The term given by the government ended on Wednesday. <\/p>\n<p>The ministry has forwarded the decision to The Nepal Telecommunication Authority for implementation.
