The Supreme Court (SC) has issued a show-cause order on a writ petition filed against nepal rastra bank (NRB) governor Maha Prasad Adhikari. <\/p>\n<p>Advocate Nabin Dhital has filed a writ petition seeking an interim order stating that the appointment of Adhikari as a member of the recommendation committee formed for the appointment of governor of Nepal Rastra Bank is illegal. A division bench of Justice Binod Sharma heard the writ petition filed against Adhikari today. Although sharma&#8217;s bench did not pass an interim order, both the parties have been summoned for discussion on May 4. <\/p>\n<p>The writ has claimed that the committee was formed while Adhikari was serving as governor and it was illegal to appoint Adhikari as a former governor in the committee. <\/p>\n<p>Along with Adhikari, the office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers has also been made the defendant in the writ.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu.
