The government has appointed Radha Pokharel as the female director of the Nepal Insurance Authority.<\/p>\n<p>Pokharel has been appointed as the female director of the Authority by a decision of the Finance Minister. Her appointment has been effective from Chaitra 1. Her term will be 4 years.<\/p>\n<p>The Insurance Act, 2079 BS has made a provision to have a female member in the Authority&#8217;s board of directors. In accordance with the same provision, Pokharel has been appointed as a female director by Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel.<\/p>\n<p>Pokharel is also a director of Vishal Bazaar Company.
