Kathmandu. The Department of Cooperatives has urged cooperatives to join the GOAML system.
Issuing a notice, the department has issued such a warning to the cooperatives that are yet to be affiliated. So far, only 2,200 cooperatives are affiliated to this system, according to the department.
Earlier, the Financial Information Unit of Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) had issued a notice on May 22 asking all the indicative institutions to register in the GAML system and send the STR÷SAR÷TTR) reporting through web or XML medium. Accordingly, the Department of Cooperatives is also expediting the work of involving all cooperatives in this system.
