CD ratio less than 74%, how much deposit?

Kathmandu. With the increase in liquidity in the banking system, the CD ratio has been declining.

According to the latest data provided by Nepal Rastra Bank, the CD ratio of banks has fallen below 74%. The latest CD ratio is 73.95%.

Although the CD ratio has been above 74% for a long time, the CD ratio has finally come down to below 74% as deposit growth has been aggressive compared to credit flow.

According to the latest statistics of the central bank, the banks have collected deposits of Rs 7.619 trillion and loans of Rs 5.698 trillion. The interbank interest rate is 2.75%.
