Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The 24th Annual General Meeting of Nepal Insurance Association (NEA) was held at Hotel Radisson, Lazimpat in Kathmandu on Friday. The meeting was attended by the President of the Association, representatives of non-life insurance companies, office-bearers of regulatory bodies and other guests.
In the AGM, the Association President presented the annual report of the fiscal year 2081/82 with the welcome speech. The present report discusses the activities of the association, the current status of the insurance sector, the challenges and the future action plan.
The meeting unanimously endorsed the audit report, income and expenditure, upcoming action plan and programmes for the fiscal year 2081/82 BS. Likewise, the meeting also decided to strengthen the insurance sector and expand insurance access.
At the end of the program, the President concluded the 24th Annual General Meeting of the Association by thanking all the members, guests and supporting agencies present in the meeting.
