Sanima Life improves profit by 41 percent

Kathmandu: Sanima Life Insurance has earned Rs. 93.9 million till the second quarter (Paush end) of current financial year 2078/79. The profit was Rs.5 crore 54 lakh in the corresponding period of the last year.

The company’s net premium income has improved by 21 percent. As of mid-January, the company has earned Rs. 1.16 billion. The net premium income was Rs. 966.3 million in the corresponding period of the last year. The company has paid claim Rs. 138.3 million in the same period.

The total premium income is Rs 1.17 billion till Q2. The total premium income till Paush end is Rs 6.55 billion.

Rs 332.3 million has been allocated for the reserve fund and Rs 2.82 billion for the life insurance fund. The company’s earnings per share(EPS) is Rs.9.
